SINBRAN\u00ae<\/sup> Food filter elements are increasingly being used in applications in the food industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>REQUIREMENTS FOR FOOD CONTACT MATERIALS<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

In general, objects that come into contact with food must fulfil two basic requirements:
\n1. Materials used must be suitable as food contact materials.
\n2. They must be manufactured in accordance with “good manufacturing practice” (GMP), as required by EU Regulation 2023\/2006 and FDA Regulation 21CFR177.XXXX.<\/p>\n

SINBRAN\u00ae <\/sup> filter elements are made from materials that have been declared safe by both regulations. No additives such as adhesives, solvents or potting compounds are used in production. Production is carried out in accordance with the requirements of EU 2023\/2006.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>SUITABLE CHOICE OF MATERIAL<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
\n

SINBRAN\u00ae<\/sup> filter elements are made exclusively from polyethylene, ePTFE, stainless steel and silicone.
\nSINBRAN\u00ae<\/sup> filter elements and their components are manufactured purely thermally and mechanically. No foreign materials such as lubricants, oils, adhesives, casting compounds or solvents are used. This prevents contamination of the product by SINBRAN\u00ae food filter elements.<\/p>\n

In the porous sintered body, the individual particles are firmly fused together at their contact surfaces. This reliably prevents particles from being released from the filter element and contaminating the product. The ePTFE membrane used is firmly bonded to the sintered surface and reliably separates the dust on the surface, thus preventing the filter element from being contaminated by embedded dust.<\/p>\n

The stainless steel of the flange reinforcement is neutral to the product.<\/p>\n

Seals are made of food-approved silicone.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICE (GMP)<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
\n

According to EU Regulation 2023\/2006, “good manufacturing practice” is intended to ensure that the products to be produced meet the relevant quality standards for their intended use. They must not jeopardise human health or cause unacceptable changes to the food.
\nIn order to achieve this, a number of requirements and measures are laid down in the regulation. The SINBRAN\u00ae<\/sup> Food elements are manufactured and packaged in accordance with these requirements and measures.<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/span>CONFORMITY<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

The conformity of the materials used is ensured by the fact that they are listed as safe in the relevant regulations. In addition, the materials are subjected to regular migration tests by an independent testing institute to ensure suitability. Production is carried out in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/span>MATERIAL COMPOSITION<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
\n

SINBRAN\u00ae<\/sup> Food filter elements consist only of polyethylene, PTFE, silicone and, if necessary, stainless steel; for antistatic elements, carbon black is embedded in the polyethylene.<\/p>\n
